Teachers recruitment system has become more efficient, says Sengottaiyan

To ensure the physical and mental well-being of students, yoga classes will soon be introduced in all school, Chief Minister Edappsadi K. Palaniswami said on Thursday. The announcement follows an advisory put out by the School Education Department earlier this month urging students to safeguard themselves against physical and mental harm triggered by unnecessary online activity. The advisory has also asked students to be physically active besides exhorting them to participate in sports and yoga. The Chief Minister made the announcement at the time of handing over appointment orders to 2,315 post-graduate teachers and 58 special educators at an event organised at the University of Madras on Thursday. Chennai, September 22 : Yoga has been made mandatory in all schools of Tamil Nadu to boost the physical and mental strength of students, chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) said on Thursday. The CM did not shell out details of when the programme will be rolled out. HIGHLIGHTS Tamil Nadu CM had made the announcement at the University of Madras while handing out the appointment to more than 2000 graduate teachers. EPS underlined the commitment of state government towards giving a fillip to the education sector .
